Business Data Analyst

About the role

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is seeking a Business Data Analyst to act as a strategic advisor for Swiss clients. The role focuses on driving data‑analytics engagements, shaping business cases, and supporting senior decision‑makers in leveraging advanced analytics solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic advisor to client stakeholders and technical teams.
• Identify and pursue new data‑analytics service opportunities with Chief Data Officers and other key executives.
• Develop and deliver compelling presentations and workshops to define analytics charters and business cases.
• Lead Data & Analytics Assessment, Strategy and Roadmap engagements, including RFI/RFP processes.
• Coordinate pre‑sales activities, create solution proposals, and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in data analytics, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
• Strong ability to translate business problems into data‑analytics solutions and engage senior audiences.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience planning and managing several projects at once.

Required skills

• Extensive experience with cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Hands‑on knowledge of Snowflake, Databricks and Lakehouse architecture.
• Deep understanding of the full data lifecycle, including ingestion, modeling, data quality, and data governance.
