Business Development Director – APAC / MEIA

About the role

The Business Development Director for APAC / MEIA will be responsible for the commercial performance and growth of Damiani Group across the region. Acting as the main link between headquarters, brands, supply chain, marketing and local teams, the role translates group strategy into market‑specific plans and measurable results.

Key responsibilities

• Own regional sales, margin and sell‑out performance, meeting annual and monthly targets.
• Develop and execute commercial plans covering sales targets, distribution priorities, assortment and productivity.
• Identify new markets, strategic partners and high‑potential accounts; optimise the existing network through productivity and market analysis.
• Manage product allocation and inventory in partnership with Supply Chain, focusing on launches, novelties and stock health.
• Lead monthly business reviews with markets and partners, ensuring clear KPIs, actions and accountability.
• Drive Key Account Management, senior negotiations, commercial terms and long‑term business plans.
• Coordinate a common commercial vision across APAC / MEIA while respecting local specificities.
• Oversee transition of distributor relationships to Damiani Group standards and manage network development projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial performance, business development and distribution strategy within luxury or high‑end product sectors.
• Strong track record of managing key accounts and building strategic partnerships across multiple markets.
• Ability to translate corporate strategy into actionable regional plans and deliver measurable results.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, working with HQ functions, local teams and external partners.
