Business Development Manager – Industrial Testing

About the role

As a Business Development Manager for Industrial Testing, you will lead growth initiatives across global markets, shaping strategies and building strong customer relationships. You will work closely with Sales, Product Management, Marketing and local business units to drive profitable expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and convert new business opportunities, conduct market analysis and define target markets, applications and key accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with strategic customers and ecosystem partners, coordinating global engagements with up to 20% travel.
• Act as the technical and commercial expert for Industrial Testing, providing market insights, customer analysis and supporting sales teams.
• Translate customer needs, market trends and competitive gaps into actionable input for product management and new product development.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering or a comparable technical discipline.
• Experience in industrial testing, automated testing systems, production engineering or industrial automation environments.
• Proven track record in business development, market analysis and go‑to‑market planning.
• Entrepreneurial, proactive and results‑oriented personality with strong stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Familiarity with SAP and CRM systems.
• Fluency in English (C1 level); German language skills are beneficial.
