Business Development Manager - Industrial Testing

About the role

Stäubli, a global industrial and mechatronic solution provider, is looking for a Business Development Manager for its Industrial Testing business. You will drive growth through market development and strategic customer engagement, working closely with Sales, Product Management, Marketing and local business units. The role combines technical and commercial expertise to identify new opportunities and shape market strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Drive business development across Industrial Testing markets, own market analysis and turn new opportunities into growth.
• Define target markets, applications and key accounts, aligning sales and marketing activities.
• Build relationships with strategic customers and ecosystem partners, support key accounts and coordinate customer engagements globally (up to 20% travel).
• Act as technical and commercial expert for Industrial Testing applications, giving market insights and customer analysis to sales teams.
• Identify customer needs, trends, competitive gaps and emerging technologies and feed them to Product Management and new product development.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering or a comparable technical discipline.
• Experience in industrial testing, automated testing systems, production engineering or industrial automation.
• Proven track record in business development, market analysis and Go-to-Market planning.
• Fluency in English (at least C1); German and other languages are an advantage.
• Entrepreneurial, proactive and results-oriented, with strong stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with SAP and CRM systems is beneficial.
• Technical expertise combined with commercial acumen; additional business or sales knowledge is an advantage.
