About the role

The Woodward, Geneva’s premier all‑suite hotel, is seeking a Chef(fe) de rang for its seasonal restaurant Le Jardinier. You will be the face of luxury service, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for discerning guests.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate orders between the dining room and the kitchen.
• Inform and advise guests on the menu, including wine pairings.
• Present and serve dishes with precision and elegance.
• Train and mentor new team members.
• Allocate and schedule tasks for your rank.
• Clear tables efficiently with the assistance of a commis.
• Assist in billing, invoicing and inventory processes.

Required profile

• Hospitality or Hotel‑Restaurant degree.
• Significant experience as a Chef(fe) de rang in a 5‑star palace or equivalent luxury setting.
• Strong knowledge of gastronomic culture, dynamic, reactive and a team player.
• Fluent in French and English (both written and spoken); a third language is a plus.
• Available to start on 1 July 2026 with flexible shift patterns.
