Superviseur Room Service

About the role

The Room Service Supervisor assists the Assistant Room Service Manager in overseeing the room service team, ensuring high‑quality service for upscale guests in line with Four Seasons standards. The role reports directly to the Director of Room Service and involves both operational and administrative responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Assistant Manager in daily management of chefs de rang, commis, apprentices and interns.
• Ensure compliance with Four Seasons service standards and monitor operational performance.
• Handle special requests from guests and coordinate follow‑up.
• Manage telephone orders, use the Micros, Opera and Birchstreet systems, and control room service inventory and costs.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of service areas, minibar, and welcome amenities.
• Conduct quality checks on staff performance and ensure consistent service delivery.
• Address guest complaints diplomatically and seek revenue‑enhancing upsell opportunities.

Required profile

• Hospitality management diploma with strong knowledge of oenology and culinary technology.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in restaurant or hotel service.
• Fluent in French and English (written and spoken); additional language a plus.
• Professional appearance, strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead a high‑end service team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience using hotel PMS Opera, POS system Micros and inventory system Birchstreet.
• Understanding of PCI compliance standards.
