Classroom and Supervision Assistant (English)

About the role

We are seeking a Classroom‑ and Supervision Assistant to join our multilingual teaching team in Zurich Seefeld. The successful candidate will support primary and kindergarten classes, ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment for young children.

Key responsibilities

• Assist teachers in daily classroom activities for primary and kindergarten groups.
• Supervise children during lessons, playtime, and transitions.
• Help prepare teaching materials and maintain a tidy classroom.
• Support language development by communicating primarily in English.
• Collaborate with the international team to foster a multicultural atmosphere.

Required profile

• Native English speaker with EU nationality or a valid Swiss work permit.
• Minimum one year of experience working with kindergarten or primary‑age children.
• Motivated to work in an international, multicultural team.
• Flexible, patient, engaged, and a strong team player.
• Basic knowledge of German is required.
