Cloud Infrastructure Evangelist

About the role

A partner company is looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Evangelist based in Switzerland, in a remote-first, fast-growing startup environment. The role helps developers build, deploy and scale applications in modern cloud environments by creating technical guides, supporting customer onboarding and demonstrating how cloud-native technologies simplify deployment workflows. It suits a technically minded graduate or early-career professional.

Key responsibilities

• Create technical guides, tutorials and documentation for deploying popular open-source projects on the platform
• Act as first point of contact for new customers' deployment questions and lead onboarding sessions
• Research open-source projects and build developer resources, and document customer success stories and common patterns
• Support technical demos during sales calls and meetings, and collect and share customer feedback to shape the product roadmap
• Build relationships with local developer communities, attend meetups and conferences about twice a year, and stay up to date with Kubernetes, containerisation and DevOps

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Excellent written English and the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
• Ability to research topics independently, experiment with deployments and solve problems
• Willingness to work in or relocate to a major metropolitan area

Required skills

• Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerisation
• Understanding of cloud computing concepts and DevOps practices
• Interest in open-source software and the cloud-native ecosystem

• Annual salary of 50,000-60,000 GBP, or an equivalent amount depending on location
