About the role

The Community Growth Manager will lead the strategic expansion of a global contributor network, focusing on user acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention across multiple markets. This role sits at the intersection of community building, marketplace growth, and operational excellence, driving measurable outcomes through data‑driven experimentation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute scalable acquisition strategies to grow contributor participation in priority regions.
• Identify high‑potential growth opportunities via market analysis, geographic clustering, and performance evaluation.
• Optimize onboarding and activation flows to reduce time‑to‑first‑participation and improve conversion rates.
• Expand active contributor coverage, strengthen participation levels, and ensure balanced growth across markets.
• Develop and manage referral programs and organic growth initiatives.
• Monitor acquisition, activation, retention, and engagement metrics, using data insights for continuous optimization.
• Conduct structured growth experiments, evaluate outcomes, and implement improvements.
• Deliver regular performance reporting and strategic recommendations to leadership.

Required profile

• 4‑8+ years of experience in growth, community expansion, marketplace development, or user acquisition.
• Proven success building and scaling distributed user networks, online communities, or contributor ecosystems.
• Strong analytical capabilities with experience managing growth funnels, conversion metrics, and retention analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to design, execute, and evaluate structured experiments.
• Experience operating across multiple geographic markets and adapting strategies to diverse user segments.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills, data‑driven mindset, and strong attention to measurable outcomes.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and thrive in fast‑paced environments.
