Compliance Officer – Financial Crime Analyst

About the role

Flex Suisse is seeking experienced Compliance Officers for its Geneva and Zurich mandates. The role focuses on data‑driven reviews and investigations to detect unusual patterns and high‑risk activity across multiple business units and jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and deliver data‑driven reviews and investigations targeting financial crime risks.
• Collaborate with compliance, tax, and advisory experts to produce comprehensive risk assessments.
• Escalate and report suspicious behavior to senior compliance officers or regulatory authorities within required timelines.
• Gather intelligence using advanced analytics to identify emerging financial crime threats.

Required profile

• Advanced skills in data analysis and statistical methods such as correlation, regression, hypothesis testing, and pattern recognition.
• Proven experience in financial crime investigations, including money‑laundering, sanctions, tax evasion, bribery, fraud, terrorist financing, human trafficking, or market abuse.
• Familiarity with investigative workflows, transaction monitoring tools, and case management systems.
• Professional certifications (e.g., ACAMS, ICA) are advantageous.
