Coordination and Support Officer – Executive Office

About the role

The Coordination and Support Officer, reporting to the Special Adviser to the Director General, will assist in preparing and coordinating matters related to the DG’s travel, policy and management functions. This position supports the Executive Office in ensuring smooth operations and effective communication across senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate logistics for the Director General’s travel, high‑level meetings, events and briefings.
• Support the development and follow‑up of policy documents, strategic agendas and management workflows for the Executive Office.
• Facilitate information sharing and collaboration among senior leaders, staff and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Political Science, International Relations, Law, Journalism or related field with at least five years of relevant professional experience (or a university degree with seven years of experience).
• Demonstrated knowledge of migration issues and ability to analyse complex problems, produce clear solutions and communicate effectively in writing.
