Coordinator Global Export Operations & Business Processes

About the role

Novartis is seeking a highly motivated Coordinator to lead global export operations and business processes. This temporary assignment starts immediately and focuses on simplifying and automating export‑related workflows while ensuring full regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main process and systems coordinator for major NPhS initiatives, defining requirements, ensuring compliance and communicating objectives.
• Partner with Basel functions, country teams and external auditors to support efficient commercial operations and continuous process improvement, especially within SAP‑driven sales and finance.
• Lead projects to deliver sustainable solutions on time and within budget, maintaining clear communication across all stakeholders.
• Oversee master data accuracy, data flow between systems and interface monitoring; review export operations work for compliance issues.
• Document and improve standard operating procedures, policies and training materials for finance and export compliance.

Required profile

• Relevant degree in Economics, Business Administration or Finance.
• 10+ years of experience in a multinational business, commercial, IT or finance role, preferably within a matrix organization.
• 5+ years of deep export experience in the pharmaceutical industry, especially in emerging markets.
• Fluent English; additional language skills (e.g., French) are a plus.

Required skills

• Strong SAP literacy and experience with SAP‑based sales execution and financial processes.
