Cyber Security Expert – OT Systems

About the role

WinGD is seeking a Cyber Security Expert focused on Operational Technology (OT) systems to support the development of secure, sustainable marine engine solutions. You will work within a dynamic team to embed cybersecurity into both new and existing two‑stroke engine products, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor relevant cybersecurity regulations, standards and trends for WinGD products.
• Derive cybersecurity requirements from legislation, class rules and product strategy.
• Design and maintain a cybersecurity architecture compatible with existing engine control systems.
• Develop strategies, guidelines, audits, documentation and training for cybersecurity compliance.
• Implement and test cybersecurity solutions following the V‑cycle.
• Oversee fulfillment of cybersecurity requirements across projects.
• Manage technology needs for OT components of large two‑stroke engines.
• Serve as point of contact for internal and external customers on OT cyber‑resilience.
• Provide strategic advice on product direction regarding cybersecurity implications.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Automation & Control, or a related field.
• Deep knowledge of OT‑focused cybersecurity standards and methods.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and development processes.
• Experience with automation and control systems, preferably in large two‑stroke engines.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.
