Data Management Officer – Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration is seeking a Data Management Officer to support its Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) programme. Working under the Information Management Officer and the Senior DTM Coordination Officer, the incumbent will ensure that data collected worldwide is accurate, clean, and ready for analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to the global DTM support team and field implementations.
• Assist in the collection, tabulation, and processing of displacement data.
• Maintain and expand the Central Data Warehouse (CDW) and implement the DTM Data Dictionary.
• Develop and adapt data collection tools, including Kobo platform surveys.
• Conduct data cleaning, refinement, and quality assurance across all datasets.
• Implement global DTM surveys and tracking systems, responding to queries from field operations.

Required profile

• Experience in data management within humanitarian or migration contexts.
• Ability to work under supervision while handling global data workflows.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality standards.
