DevOps Engineer – GenAI Azure Platform

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to lead the setup and operation of a Generative AI platform within a regulated banking environment. You will work on Azure cloud services, ensure compliance, and deliver reliable AI‑driven solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, operate and manage Azure services (APIM, Azure AI Search, Azure OpenAI, Document Intelligence, Azure Foundry) using Terraform.
• Design and automate CI/CD pipelines for GenAI applications (LLMOps) across development, test and production.
• Contribute to architectural blueprints and technical standards to guarantee scalability and regulatory compliance.
• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting (Grafana, Azure Monitor, dashboards) to maintain system stability.
• Enforce IT security, compliance and architectural requirements specific to banking.
• Set up authentication and authorization (Azure Entra ID, RBAC, OAuth) and monitor performance for early issue detection.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in software or application development.
• Strong expertise with DevOps toolchains (Git, GitLab, Docker, Terraform).
• Deep knowledge of Azure services, especially APIM, AKS, Azure Functions, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Document Intelligence and Storage Accounts.
• Understanding of GenAI technologies such as Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) and Agentic AI.
• Experience in regulated environments, including security and IT architecture reviews.
• Proficiency with monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor).
• Good command of English (B2) and native German.
