Director, PR & Communications, EMEA (6‑Month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

You will lead the public‑relations and communications strategy for a high‑visibility organisation across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Reporting to senior leadership, you will shape brand reputation, drive storytelling and support mission‑driven campaigns in a fast‑paced, international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute PR and communications strategies aligned with global priorities for the EMEA region.
• Build and maintain relationships with top‑tier journalists across news, entertainment, policy and lifestyle outlets.
• Identify, shape and pitch compelling stories that amplify organisational impact and executive thought leadership.
• Oversee PR execution for major campaigns, events, partnerships and special initiatives across multiple markets.
• Manage external PR agencies to ensure consistent messaging and performance.
• Coordinate cross‑functional collaboration with marketing, policy, partnerships and executive teams.
• Plan and execute press activities, including events, briefings, interviews and media activations.

Required profile

• 5‑8+ years of experience in public relations, communications or media, preferably in global campaigns, entertainment, politics or advocacy.
• Strong network of media contacts across EMEA in news, entertainment, business and policy sectors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale PR campaigns, press events and media activations internationally.
• Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities in a high‑pressure environment.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across cultures, time zones and senior stakeholder groups.
