E-commerce Director – Luxury Online Business

About the role

We are seeking an experienced E‑commerce Director to lead the strategic development and performance of a global online business in the luxury consumer sector. Based in Switzerland, you will shape digital growth, profitability, and the premium customer journey across all channels.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the global e‑commerce strategy, driving revenue growth and profitability.
• Design and manage customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty programs to increase lifetime value.
• Optimize the online experience through personalization, storytelling, merchandising, and seamless omnichannel journeys.
• Monitor and act on performance metrics such as conversion rate, CAC, AOV, and LTV.
• Lead CRM initiatives including email, SMS, segmentation, and post‑purchase engagement.
• Coordinate external agencies and contractors across paid media, content, influencer marketing, SEO, and other digital channels.
• Foster collaboration with internal teams and external partners, setting clear performance expectations.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and adapt experiences to local market requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years in a senior e‑commerce leadership role, preferably within luxury or premium consumer brands.
• Proven track record of driving online revenue growth at an international level.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in performance analytics and data‑driven decision‑making.
• Experience managing agencies and contractors through KPI‑based frameworks.
• Solid understanding of CRM strategies, customer lifecycle management, and digital marketing channels.
