Electronics Technician – PCB Layout & Hardware Testing

About the role

Keysight Technologies is seeking an Electronics Technician specialized in PCB layout and hardware testing to join its Glattbrugg site. The role involves hands‑on development, debugging and validation of mixed‑signal printed circuit boards in close collaboration with engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and layout complex mixed‑signal PCBs using industry‑standard tools.
• Maintain and update electronic schematics and related documentation.
• Perform hardware debugging, electronics testing and circuit analysis on prototype boards.
• Troubleshoot, debug and repair PCBs and associated electronic hardware systems.
• Support prototype validation, hardware bring‑up and integration activities.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers and electronics development teams throughout the product lifecycle.

Required profile

• Formal training as an Electronics Technician, Electrical Technician or equivalent.
• Practical experience with PCB layout, design or electronic hardware development.
• Solid understanding of analog and digital electronics.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and test electronic hardware.

Required skills

• PCB layout and design (mixed‑signal boards).
• Altium Designer or comparable PCB CAD tools.
• Analog and digital circuit analysis.
• Hardware debugging and electronics testing.
• Basic knowledge of RF or microwave technology (optional).
