Field Application Engineer – Zurich

About the role

Future Electronics is seeking a Generalist Field Application Engineer to join its Advanced Engineering team in Zurich. You will act as a technical advisor for Swiss customers, delivering application support and design solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide applications and design solutions as a technical advisor to the assigned customer base in Switzerland.
• Solve customer problems and product challenges through appropriate positioning and presentation of products.
• Identify opportunities and deliver technical solutions through frequent customer visits.
• Collaborate closely with suppliers and internal sales teams.
• Demonstrate and design‑in the product line, and manage customer‑specific workshops and company‑hosted tech days.

Required profile

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German.
• Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or a comparable field.
• Minimum of five years design experience in the field or with an electronics company.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and work under pressure.
• Proactive and results‑driven approach.
