Field IT Support Technician – Geneva

About the role

AVASO Technology is looking for an experienced Field IT Support Technician to provide on‑site technical assistance across its Geneva location. You will act as the primary point of contact for end‑users, handling hardware, software, and network issues while ensuring high service quality.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on‑site support for desktops, laptops, printers, IP phones and video‑conference equipment.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot software applications and operating systems (Windows 7/10).
• Onboard new users, prepare and manage IT assets, and handle off‑boarding and asset sanitisation.
• Provide executive/VIP support and coordinate remote assistance with backend teams.
• Manage tickets in ServiceNow or similar systems, ensuring SLA compliance.
• Support mid‑range servers, network devices (switches, routers, wireless APs) and VPN connectivity.
• Maintain IT asset inventory, coordinate external vendors, and oversee e‑waste disposal.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of corporate IT support experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 7/10, Office 365, and Active Directory.
• Experience with ServiceNow or comparable ticketing platforms.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and manage incident backlogs.
• Excellent decision‑making and self‑discipline.
