Field Medical Advisor – Solid Tumors

About the role

The Field Medical Advisor Solid Tumors will act as a strategic scientific partner for oncology, focusing on melanoma and ocular oncology. Reporting to the Medical Lead Oncology & Hematology, the role strengthens Servier's scientific presence across Switzerland and supports the development of medical strategy and evidence‑generation activities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the local medical strategy for the solid‑tumor portfolio, emphasizing melanoma and ocular oncology.
• Identify unmet medical needs and translate insights into impactful medical initiatives.
• Provide balanced, compliant scientific information and review educational materials.
• Lead evidence‑generation projects such as real‑world evidence studies, registries, and investigator‑initiated research.
• Build and maintain scientific partnerships with healthcare professionals, societies, and expert networks across Switzerland.
• Organise scientific exchanges, advisory boards and educational events while gathering field insights.
• Deliver medical training and updates to internal teams and support onboarding initiatives.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in a health‑related scientific discipline (MD, PharmD, PhD, MSc or equivalent).
• 3–5 years of Medical Affairs experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• 2–3 years of oncology experience; expertise in melanoma or ocular oncology is a strong asset.
• Good understanding of the Swiss healthcare environment, regulatory framework and compliance requirements.
• Fluency in English; strong German and/or French preferred.
• Willingness to travel frequently within Switzerland and occasionally internationally.
