Financial Controller – Accounting & Controlling (Lausanne)

About the role

Join an international, purpose‑driven organization in Lausanne as a Financial Controller. You will partner with the CFO to drive controlling, KPIs, and strategic decisions, building insights that influence the business and support growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial controlling activities including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and performance monitoring.
• Develop and enhance reporting tools, dashboards and KPIs to support strategic decision‑making.
• Partner with the CFO and business units to deliver actionable financial insights and drive performance.
• Analyse cost and service performance, identify improvement areas and propose solutions.
• Ensure accuracy and reliability of financial data in close collaboration with the accounting team.
• Provide support to accounting during month‑ends, closings and audit preparation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent qualification (e.g., Brevet fédéral).
• Minimum 5 years of finance experience with a strong focus on controlling.
• Solid understanding of Swiss CO accounting principles.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
• Proactive, hands‑on and solution‑oriented personality.
• Excellent communication skills; fluent in English, French is a strong plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel, including Power Query and Power Pivot.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics.
