About the role

We are looking for a Finance Controller specialized in fund management to join the asset management division of an international bank in Zurich. You will ensure accurate financial analysis, reporting, and compliance while supporting strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Perform financial analysis and prepare detailed reports for fund management, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Manage budgets, conduct financial research, investigate complex scenarios, and produce transparent financial statements.
• Collaborate with executive leadership and accounting teams to drive financial planning and support strategic initiatives.
• Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process, aligning financial targets with corporate objectives.
• Review fund‑business processes by comparing contractual management fees with assets under management (AuM).
• Optimize departmental processes and tools through automation and AI‑powered solutions.
• Participate in ad‑hoc projects as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Banking & Finance or Accounting.
• Professional experience in a bank’s asset‑management department, a fund‑management firm, or auditing/financial consulting at a Big Four firm.
• Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
• Analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work both on‑site and remotely, set priorities, coordinate tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with teams and executives.
• Proficiency in German and English.
