Frontend Software Engineer – AI‑guided Protein Platform

About the role

Cradle is building an AI‑driven software platform that accelerates protein design for biotech, agri‑tech and food‑tech. We are looking for a Frontend Software Engineer to create intuitive, data‑rich user interfaces that let biologists interact with advanced machine‑learning models.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop a service‑oriented, decoupled web application for protein optimization.
• Implement innovative visualisations for complex biological data.
• Collaborate closely with biologists, machine‑learning scientists and designers.
• Maintain high code quality through reviews, version control and CI/CD pipelines.

Required profile

• Strong fundamentals in TypeScript and React.
• Experience building front‑end systems in a modern cloud environment.
• Ability to learn new domains quickly, including ML concepts or biological terminology.
• Proactive, action‑oriented mindset with a focus on delivering results.
