General Manager – Business Unit

About the role

BlueThrone is seeking a proven business leader to run an entire mobile‑app business unit as its de‑facto CEO. You will own P&L, product direction, team building, customer relationships and growth initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end performance of the unit, including revenue, retention, roadmap and profitability.
• Hire, structure and develop a cross‑functional team across Product, Engineering, Customer Success and Commercial functions.
• Drive B2B growth through pricing strategy, sales motions, partnerships and developer‑focused marketing.
• Define and execute the unit’s strategic plan, aligning product, technology and go‑to‑market with BlueThrone’s broader platform.
• Represent the business to customers, partners and the market.

Required profile

• Deep, hands‑on understanding of the mobile‑app ecosystem (subscriptions, app‑store economics, SDKs, monetization and growth).
• Experience building, selling or running B2B products for mobile‑app developers or publishers.
• Track record of end‑to‑end business ownership with P&L responsibility.
• Proven ability to hire, structure and lead high‑performing cross‑functional teams.
• Operator’s mindset – comfortable shifting between board‑level strategy and day‑to‑day execution.
