Global Account Manager – Retail, Restaurants & CPG

About the role

AWS is seeking a world‑class sales professional to manage global customer relationships with our largest retail, restaurant and CPG companies. The Global Account Manager will co‑lead business leadership and management of several global accounts headquartered in the United States, building and maintaining key relationships, developing opportunities, and overseeing deployment projects.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the customer’s C‑suite to build strategic relationships across the account.
• Sell at the most strategic level and implement a broad strategy for customer acceptance and service implementation.
• Collaborate with AWS resources—including Executives, Solutions Architects, Partners, Support, Service teams, and Professional Services—to support customer interests.
• Coordinate executive business reviews, secure senior sponsorships, and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Monitor deployment projects and engage virtual resources as needed.

Required profile

• Experience representing AWS within a customer environment and driving senior‑level discussions.
• Proven track record creating and implementing long‑term transformational account strategies.
• Experience leading and influencing data strategy for a team or organization.
• Mentoring, coaching, and influencing colleagues and stakeholders.
• Competitive knowledge of GCP and Azure.
• Bachelor’s degree or MBA in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, engineering, analytics).
• Experience managing large, complex enterprise accounts.
