Group Assurance Manager (80-100% FTE)

About the role

Sika is strengthening its global assurance landscape and seeks a senior professional to coordinate assurance activities across the Group. The role ensures transparency, consistency and effectiveness of governance, risk and control processes worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and align all assurance activities across the Group, including internal audits, control assessments, compliance, HR, supplier and IT security audits.
• Serve as the central point of contact for assurance planning, avoiding duplication and optimizing coverage across functions and regions.
• Collaborate with Internal Audit, Internal Controls, Legal & Compliance, HR, Procurement, Cyber Security and other assurance functions.
• Support development and continuous improvement of the global assurance framework, driving efficiency, standardisation and best‑practice sharing.
• Consolidate and report key insights, critical findings and recurring issues, ensuring timely escalation of major findings.
• Participate in the operation and development of Sika’s Enterprise Risk Management, Internal Control System and Insurance Management.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management or a related field.
• 8‑10 years of experience in internal audit or a similar internal function within a multinational industrial company.
• Proven experience with various audit types (internal, safety, ISO, supplier, HR, compliance, etc.).
• Strong understanding of governance, assurance and risk‑management systems.
• Ability to coordinate complex, cross‑functional activities in a global environment.
• Highly autonomous, structured and excellent organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities, with fluency in English.
