Group Finance Director – International Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a Group Finance Director to lead the financial management of an international mid‑sized industrial and manufacturing group operating from the Geneva area. The role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on involvement in accounting, treasury, tax and reporting across multiple legal entities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial management, accounting and reporting for the group’s multiple legal entities.
• Coordinate monthly management accounts, group reconciliations, intercompany balances and ensure timely delivery of reliable financial information.
• Manage international treasury activities, including liquidity planning, cash‑flow forecasting, banking relationships, foreign‑exchange exposure and intercompany funding.
• Supervise Swiss and cross‑border tax and VAT matters in collaboration with local accountants, external advisers and internal stakeholders.
• Strengthen financial processes, internal controls and reporting tools while ensuring effective use of the group’s ERP and accounting systems.
• Coordinate statutory and group audits and support senior management on operational accounting and finance matters as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Finance Director, Head of Finance or senior financial leader in an international, multi‑entity environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, consolidation, management reporting, treasury, intercompany transactions, audit and indirect taxation.
• Ability to lead finance teams, coordinate with external accountants, auditors, banks and senior business stakeholders across several countries.
• Fluent in English and French; additional European language knowledge is a plus.
• Strategic mindset combined with willingness to stay actively involved in detailed financial activities.
