Head of Finance & Controlling

About the role

The Head of Finance & Controlling will lead the financial management of the SIS legal entity within the Sika Group, focusing on global IT finance, budgeting, and controlling. This senior position ensures compliance with legal, regulatory, tax, and reporting requirements while aligning financial processes with the Group IT and business strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Manage department personnel, including staffing, development, performance appraisals, and training.
• Own the IT budgeting process, planning, and controlling across the global organization.
• Oversee all financial activities of SIS: closings, asset accounting, budgeting, reporting, liquidity, invoicing, and cost management.
• Collect, analyse, and report global IT total cost of ownership (TCO) and define relevant IT KPIs.
• Develop and implement financial solutions aligned with group initiatives and internal control systems.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure compliance with local tax regulations.
• Manage IT service portfolio documentation, budgeting, invoicing, and SLA cost allocations.
• Provide financial consultancy and ad‑hoc analyses to SIS management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance and controlling, preferably within an IT or technology environment.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing finance teams.
• Deep understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience handling internal controls, audits, and tax compliance for a multinational entity.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
