Head of Quality Management & Audit

About the role

OEKO‑TEX® is seeking a strategic leader to head its Quality Management & Audit function at the Zurich headquarters. You will shape the quality and audit strategy for globally recognised textile and leather certifications, ensuring compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the quality management and audit strategy aligned with OEKO‑TEX® standards.
• Manage continuous improvement of quality management systems across certification and audit processes.
• Analyse data, identify improvement opportunities and produce performance reports.
• Plan, execute and evaluate internal and external audits, keeping methodologies up‑to‑date.
• Investigate complaints, drive corrective actions and monitor effectiveness of quality controls.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of Quality Managers and Junior Quality Managers.
• Collaborate with certificate holders, certification bodies and internal departments to harmonise quality standards.
• Work with the Product Management Team to evaluate and evolve certifications.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of proven experience in quality management and audits, preferably in the textile or certification sector.
• Master’s degree in quality management, textile technology or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent communication skills in English and ability to work cross‑functionally.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.
