About the role
The Head of Strategy & Operations for Footwear Product Creation will design and execute the operating model that turns On’s 2030 Long Range Plan into tangible results. Reporting to senior leadership, you will coordinate across Development, Engineering, Materials and Sustainability to accelerate breakthrough footwear delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Translate the 2030 LRP and annual goals into a multi‑year strategic roadmap for Footwear Creation.
- Own the seasonal range portfolio planning, including capacity modeling, resource allocation and project prioritisation.
- Design and run the creation operating rhythm – weekly stand‑ups, monthly business reviews and quarterly strategic planning.
- Lead high‑stakes leadership discussions, prepare agendas, pre‑reads and drive decision‑making.
- Coordinate with Innovation, Sourcing, Brand and Supply Chain to ensure alignment and visibility.
- Lead process‑excellence initiatives such as stage‑gate optimisation, systems integration and capacity‑planning frameworks.
- Implement change‑management programmes to drive adoption of new ways of working.
Required profile
- 10+ years of leadership experience in product strategy, program management or footwear creation.
- Proven ability to influence senior leaders across multiple functions.
- Strong track record of delivering large‑scale transformation initiatives.
