HR Coordinator – Maternity Cover (Remote, Switzerland)

About the role

This fully remote position supports a globally distributed workforce while covering a maternity leave. You will work closely with senior HR leadership to ensure a seamless employee experience across the entire lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day administrative support for HR operations, policies, and procedures.
• Coordinate onboarding activities, including scheduling, orientations, documentation, and follow‑up.
• Maintain employee records and update the HRIS for hires, transfers, terminations, and changes.
• Assist payroll administration by addressing discrepancies and ensuring timely processing.
• Generate regular and ad‑hoc HR reports such as workforce data, PTO tracking, and employee metrics.
• Support employee programs, wellness initiatives, vendor coordination, and internal communications.
• Respond to employee inquiries via communication platforms with professional, timely assistance.
• Handle confidential information securely and contribute to special projects and process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HR coordination, HR administration, or people operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal abilities and a customer‑focused mindset.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexibility to collaborate across global time zones and occasional travel.
• Experience with international teams or Employer of Record arrangements is a plus.
