HR Director

About the role

We are seeking an HR Director to build and lead a global People function for a fast‑growing technology company based in Switzerland. The role combines strategic leadership with hands‑on execution, allowing you to shape culture, talent strategy and HR operations across multiple regions during a critical scale‑up phase.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a comprehensive People strategy aligned with rapid international growth.
• Assess existing HR operations and identify opportunities for AI‑driven automation and optimization.
• Design and implement scalable processes for onboarding, performance management, career development, employee engagement and off‑boarding.
• Build a data‑driven recruitment framework, including hiring workflows, interview methodologies and talent assessment.
• Establish HR dashboards, KPIs, grading, compensation and OKR structures.
• Lead global HR operations, coordinating with payroll providers, Employers of Record and local compliance teams.
• Select, implement and optimise HR technology solutions such as HRIS, ATS and workflow automation platforms.
• Recruit, mentor and manage a high‑performing People & Talent team and coach managers on leadership and feedback.

Required profile

• 5‑7+ years of experience leading HR or People Operations, preferably building an HR function from scratch in high‑growth startups or scale‑ups.
• Background in FinTech, Crypto, SaaS or other fast‑scaling, multi‑regional technology businesses.
• Proven track record scaling organisations from ~50 to 200+ employees.
• Experience managing globally distributed teams and international employment models, including Employers of Record.
