HR Specialist (Remote, Switzerland)

About the role

We are seeking an HR Specialist to join a fast‑growing global business. Working fully remotely from Switzerland, you will support the complete employee lifecycle and ensure HR operations run smoothly, accurately, and in compliance with regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee HR policy and procedure inquiries.
• Coordinate onboarding, orientation, off‑boarding, exit interviews and maintain employment documentation.
• Administer and maintain the HRIS, keeping records, workflows and permissions up to date.
• Support managers with documentation, policy interpretation and day‑to‑day HR guidance.
• Monitor HR processes, identify efficiency improvements and ensure system performance.
• Prepare recurring and ad‑hoc HR reports, dashboards and workforce analytics.
• Create executive‑ready presentations summarising key HR metrics and trends.
• Maintain personnel files, support compliance audits and regulatory reporting.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to foster a positive, compliant, employee‑centered culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2‑5 years of progressive HR experience, including HR operations and employee lifecycle management.
• Experience administering HRIS platforms; familiarity with Paylocity is a plus.
• Solid understanding of U.S. employment laws and HR compliance; multi‑state experience advantageous.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
