Human Resources Director

About the role

The Human Resources Director will join the senior leadership team of Collège du Léman, reporting directly to the Director General. The role combines strategic leadership with operational excellence to develop and roll out an HR roadmap that aligns with global HR processes and the school’s strategic plan.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement a clear HR strategy that supports the school’s values and culture.
• Oversee core HR programs and processes, including talent management, budget preparation and review, compensation, employee engagement, payroll, and time management.
• Provide HR guidance to the management team and act as a trusted partner on all people‑related matters.
• Promote organisational effectiveness, agility, and compliance with Swiss labour law.
• Lead the HR team, ensuring consistent and coherent people practices across day‑to‑day operations.

Required profile

• Proven track record as an HR leader in both international and SME environments within Switzerland.
• Deep knowledge of the Swiss labour environment and legislation.
• Strong employee‑relations and communication abilities, with high emotional intelligence.
• Experience navigating complex and ambiguous situations and building partnerships at all organisational levels.
