Information Systems Officer – Temporary (IT/DPS)

About the role

The International Trade Centre seeks a temporary Information Systems Officer to support the Division of Programme Support’s IT&S section. Working closely with the Green & Inclusive Value Chains unit and the Trade for Sustainable Development programme, the incumbent will help design, develop, and maintain digital solutions that enable trade‑led development.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in gathering user requirements and preparing technical specifications.
• Assist in the design, development, installation, testing and deployment of information systems and stand‑alone tools.
• Maintain and support assigned system modules, including upgrades, change implementation and operational troubleshooting.
• Contribute to project planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk monitoring and quality assurance.
• Develop programs to interface with existing applications and ensure data security and integrity.
• Support disaster‑recovery planning, documentation, and help‑desk services.
• Assist in procurement activities, performance monitoring and the definition of Service Level Agreements.

Required profile

• Works under the overall guidance of the Chief IT&S and in direct supervision of the Senior Programme Officer.
• Collaborates closely with business unit heads, the T4SD team and the GIVC chief.
