Internal Controlling Officer

About the role

Swissquote is looking for a motivated Internal Controlling Officer to strengthen its Internal Controlling team. You will work across the Group’s departments, coordinating risk and control self‑assessment (RCSA) workshops and ensuring that controls meet FINMA circulars and regulatory expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute RCSA workshops for assigned departments and support operational teams throughout the process.
• Maintain methodological consistency across Internal Control System (ICS) documentation and controls for both 1st and 2nd lines of defense.
• Review and validate control design and effectiveness assessments.
• Perform complex 2nd‑level controls, identify gaps, and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Contribute to ad‑hoc reviews, conduct incident analyses, and track remediation actions.
• Share best‑practice methodologies within the team and support first‑line teams in understanding ICS expectations.
• Help improve and automate 2nd‑level control processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a university or university of applied sciences.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role or internal audit.
• Excellent analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Organised, curious and able to work both autonomously and as part of a fast‑paced team.
• Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken.
