IT Support Engineer – Onsite

About the role

We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join the onsite technical team of a leading intergovernmental organisation in Geneva. The role combines second‑line desktop and hardware support with hands‑on assistance for the Network and Compute teams, working directly on client premises.

Key responsibilities

• Install, upgrade and troubleshoot Windows, macOS and authorised desktop software.
• Support desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices and meeting‑room equipment.
• Manage incidents and service requests through ServiceNow.
• Provide support for Active Directory, Azure AD, Exchange Online and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Deliver hands‑and‑eyes assistance for Network and Compute devices under remote SME guidance.
• Maintain asset inventory and oversee device lifecycle.
• Take ownership of incidents from diagnosis to resolution or escalation, ensuring accurate documentation.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in an on‑site or second‑line IT support role.
• Strong hands‑on troubleshooting skills across hardware, operating systems and connectivity.
• Working knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365 and Active Directory/Azure AD.
• Ability to act as an extension of a remote network and compute team.
• Fluency in French, English and Spanish is mandatory.
• CompTIA A+, MCP/MCSE or ITIL Foundation certification is an advantage.
