IT Support Expert (m/f/d)

About the role

We are looking for an IT Support Expert to provide first‑level assistance to internal users at our Chiasso office. You will be the primary contact for device, account, and collaboration‑tool issues, and you will ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding of employees.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑level support for notebooks, peripherals, VPN, printers, meeting‑room equipment and standard business applications.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and access problems, escalating complex cases to specialised teams.
• Manage device lifecycle activities such as preparation, enrollment, handover, stock coordination and asset tracking.
• Coordinate end‑to‑end onboarding and offboarding, including workstation readiness, account setup, access provisioning and equipment return.
• Maintain user administration tasks, password resets, permission changes and knowledge‑base documentation.
• Monitor system alerts, initiate first response, communicate status and collaborate on incident resolution.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience in IT support.
• Hands‑on experience in first‑level user support, incident handling and request fulfillment.
• Good understanding of Windows‑based workplace environments and common business applications.
• Experience with onboarding/offboarding processes, access control and asset tracking.
• Strong communication skills and a service‑oriented mindset.
