Software Engineer (m/f/d) – Full‑time, Unlimited

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer (m/f/d) on an unlimited full‑time contract to join our team in Chiasso. You will help build and maintain core financial services that power MF Group products, working on ledgers, invoice flows and payment solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain core financial services that track customer balances, orchestrate invoice creation and distribution, and ensure accurate data flow across merchants and platforms.
• Develop, test, and ship robust, maintainable, and readable software, applications, APIs, and workflows.
• Collaborate with team members to improve the current software architecture and reduce complexity.
• Solve technical challenges, contribute ideas for improvement, and monitor production systems to identify optimization opportunities.
• Contribute to a positive engineering culture by adopting and following best practices.

Required profile

• 2+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Knowledge of Object‑Oriented and/or Functional programming paradigms.
• Familiarity with industry standards and practices in software engineering.
• Critical‑thinking attitude and enthusiasm for learning new technologies.
• Ability to communicate clearly in Italian (preferred) and English.
