Junior/Graduate Accountant

About the role

Kandou is seeking a motivated recent graduate to join its Finance team as a Junior/Graduate Accountant. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on exposure to day‑to‑day accounting across multiple legal entities and countries, providing experience with multi‑currency and multi‑entity bookkeeping.

Key responsibilities

• Support vendor payment processing, invoice entry, and matching to purchase orders across Kandou entities.
• Assist with posting journal entries, routine general‑ledger transactions, and monthly close activities such as accruals and pre‑payments.
• Prepare monthly bank, vendor, and account reconciliations, flagging discrepancies for follow‑up.
• Maintain accurate supporting documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
• Contribute to ad‑hoc finance projects and help implement AI‑assisted workflows in finance operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• No prior professional experience required; internships or academic projects are a plus.
• Basic familiarity with accounting principles such as debits/credits, journal entries and simple reconciliations.

Required skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Eagerness to learn accounting systems, specifically Microsoft Business Central or similar ERP.
