Linux System Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Linux System Engineer to join our SaaS infrastructure team in Zurich. You will design, operate, and optimise containerised platforms, driving automation and observability across our cloud‑native stack.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, deploy and manage Kubernetes‑based environments from design through day‑to‑day operations.
• Automate CI/CD pipelines and implement GitOps practices using Helm and ArgoCD.
• Ensure high availability, performance and secure configuration of managed services such as web hosting, application services and email delivery.
• Implement and maintain observability with Prometheus, Grafana and other monitoring & logging tools.
• Resolve complex incidents, collaborate with stakeholders and contribute to continuous platform improvements.

Required profile

• Strong experience in Linux administration (Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proven ability to work under pressure, analyse problems methodically and communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical teams.
• Experience in SaaS or platform environments where uptime, security and scalability are critical.
