Local SEO Account Manager for Client Success & Growth

About the role

We are seeking a Local SEO Account Manager to drive client success and growth for a portfolio of small‑business customers based in Switzerland. You will be the primary point of contact, guiding clients through onboarding, strategy, reporting and ongoing optimisation of their local search presence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end onboarding of new clients, setting clear expectations and ensuring smooth service activation.
• Serve as the main liaison for clients, handling communications, strategy discussions and relationship management.
• Prepare and present weekly and monthly performance reports on rankings, traffic, leads and campaign outcomes.
• Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities to expand client value with additional SEO, advertising or content services.
• Monitor client satisfaction, address concerns proactively and work to minimise churn.
• Coordinate with internal SEO, project management and delivery teams to guarantee timely execution of client strategies.
• Align client goals with performance data to support long‑term optimisation and growth.

Required profile

• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with a customer‑first mindset.
• Familiarity with Local SEO fundamentals such as Google Business Profile, citations and local rankings.
• Experience in account management, customer success, business development or agency‑side client services.
• Sales‑oriented attitude with the ability to spot growth opportunities.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and able to juggle multiple accounts.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced agency environment.
