Logistics Operator – Basel (1-year & 6-month contracts)

About the role

Our client, a global leader in active pharmaceutical ingredient production, is seeking two Logistics Operators for its Basel site. The positions are offered on a fixed‑term basis – one for an initial 12‑month period and another for an initial six‑month period, both with the possibility of extension. The role supports daily laboratory and office operations by handling all logistics activities, from warehouse management to the shipment of analytical and technical samples.

Key responsibilities

• Manage supplies and inventories for laboratory consumables and chemicals.
• Perform warehouse tasks such as requisition, restocking, 6S organization and Kanban flow.
• Coordinate receipt and dispatch of pharmaceutical samples and technical material following internal procedures.
• Provide administrative support and maintain close cooperation with suppliers.
• Assist and contribute to logistics‑related projects and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Swiss or EU citizenship with the right to work in Switzerland.
• Degree or apprenticeship in logistics.
• Minimum three years of logistics experience, preferably in a regulated environment.
• Excellent planning, organization and communication skills.
• Good written and spoken English; basic spoken German.
