Manager, Solution Marketing

About the role

Johnson Controls is looking for a strategic and hands‑on Manager, Solution Marketing to lead industry‑specific marketing initiatives. You will own the end‑to‑end development of positioning, value propositions and global campaigns for defined verticals, driving awareness, engagement and demand.

Key responsibilities

• Own industry marketing strategy and accountability for outcomes, conducting market research on customer needs, buying behavior and competitive dynamics.
• Develop and translate customer value propositions into clear, benefit‑driven messaging and ensure consistency across all channels.
• Lead go‑to‑market plans, product launches, promotional campaigns and thought‑leadership initiatives, coordinating internal and external resources.
• Partner with Sales, CRM and product teams to enable seamless lead hand‑off, monitor pipeline progression and refine campaigns based on closed‑loop feedback.
• Operate within a global matrixed organization, aligning geographic units, centers of excellence and agency partners behind unified campaigns.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of B2B marketing experience, preferably in industrial, technology or building‑solutions sectors.
• Proven ability to own and execute marketing strategy in a global or matrixed environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field; MBA is a plus.
