Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

ANYbotics is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join its Production and Maintenance team in Zurich. The role focuses on day‑to‑day manufacturing operations for mobile robotics, providing hands‑on support on the shop floor and ensuring smooth production flow.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level technical support to maintain throughput and testing uptime.
• Document non‑conformities, perform root‑cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain, calibrate and improve production tooling and test equipment.
• Monitor First Pass Yield and cycle times, identify bottlenecks and implement KPIs.
• Lead projects aimed at optimizing output, efficiency and on‑time delivery.
• Execute New Product Introduction (NPI) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) on the shop floor.
• Collaborate with Industrialisation, Quality, R&D, Supply Chain, Logistics and the EMS partner to ensure stable series production.

Required profile

• Self‑driven engineer with a pragmatic, structured and hands‑on mindset.
• Experience working on a shop floor in a high‑tech manufacturing environment.
• Ability to diagnose technical issues and implement process improvements.
• Strong communication skills to act as interface between multiple departments.
• Motivation to work on robotics hardware and prototype series.
