Marketplace Manager – International Expansion

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Marketplace Manager to lead the strategic expansion and performance of our luxury fragrance brand across international online marketplaces. You will own the end‑to‑end process from partner onboarding to media campaign optimisation, driving growth in key markets.

Key responsibilities

• Expand and manage presence on major marketplaces such as Amazon, Zalando and other regional platforms.
• Identify, evaluate and onboard new marketplace partners.
• Negotiate listings, visibility packages and promotional placements.
• Maintain full ownership of Vendor and Seller accounts.
• Plan, execute and optimise retail media campaigns (e.g., Amazon Ads).
• Monitor and analyse KPIs including ROAS, conversion rate, ranking and sell‑out.
• Continuously optimise product listings – SEO, A+ content, brand stores.
• Collaborate closely with marketing, sales and external marketplace teams.
• Develop and implement international marketplace launch strategies.

Required profile

• Several years of hands‑on experience in marketplace management (not pure webshop/e‑commerce).
• Strong expertise with Amazon Vendor and/or Seller Central.
• Experience with platforms such as Zalando, Douglas Online or Notino.
• Solid understanding of retail media and performance drivers.
• Confident use of analytics tools (GA4, Looker Studio, Helium10, etc.).
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a structured, hands‑on working style.
• Fluent in German and English.
