Metrology Technician (Contingent)

About the role

The Metrology Technician is responsible for executing calibration and requalification activities across the site, ensuring compliance with GMP and internal policies. This position acts as a key liaison for problem resolution and supervises both internal and external work in the metrology area.

Key responsibilities

• Execute, document, and manage calibration and requalification for all equipment and systems, including QC, production, warehouse, facilities, and utilities.
• Supervise external service providers during interventions and maintain up‑to‑date calibration documentation in the CMMS.
• Plan calibration activities with equipment owners, perform adjustments, replacements, and maintenance, and support defect resolution.
• Ensure all tags reflect current calibration status and record any out‑of‑tolerance events.

Required profile

• Technical qualification (CFC or equivalent) with 3‑4 years of GMP environment experience.
• 5+ years of metrology experience in the pharma or biotech industry.
• Fluent French; English knowledge is an asset.
• Customer‑service orientation, strong problem‑solving abilities, and the capacity to work autonomously.
