New Business Manager – Automotive Refinish

About the role

PPG is seeking a motivated New Business Manager to join its Automotive Refinish team in Ecublens, Switzerland. You will be responsible for expanding the customer base, strengthening existing relationships, and driving sales of industrial and automotive coating products.

Key responsibilities

• Visit existing customers regularly and acquire new clients across the territory.
• Plan routes and customer visits independently.
• Take personal responsibility for achieving sales targets and developing new business opportunities.
• Gather market intelligence on trends and competitor activities.
• Prepare and present project lists and sales materials for internal and client meetings.
• Develop budgets and business plans specific to the territory.
• Manage the sales pipeline and coordinate customer activities.
• Provide on‑site technical advice and coordinate technical service interventions.
• Introduce new PPG products to customers and support their implementation.

Required profile

• Training as an industrial painter, automotive painter, or body‑repair technician.
• Experience selling products in the industrial coatings and commercial vehicle sector.
• Strong ability to convince and inspire customers with PPG solutions.
• Solid technical background with good knowledge of paint systems.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
