Primary Teacher (International School)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher to join our vibrant international community in Aubonne, Switzerland. The role involves delivering high‑quality education to children aged 3‑12, fostering both academic and personal growth within an IB‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑standard learning, development and care for primary‑age children, tailoring lessons to individual needs and interests.
• Participate in designing, developing, implementing and reviewing the curriculum, selecting and managing classroom resources.
• Build strong partnerships with parents to support each child’s progress.
• Maintain a safe, secure and stimulating classroom environment that encourages students to reach their potential.
• Contribute to trips, excursions, field trips and extracurricular activities.
• Engage in professional development, staff training and meetings to enhance the teaching team.

Required profile

• Bachelor in Education, PGCE or equivalent qualification.
• Proven record of teaching excellence, preferably in an international school setting.
• Organised, proactive, excellent communicator and team player.
• Ability to manage a diverse workload and inspire mixed‑culture, mixed‑ability classes.
• Clear criminal record.
